About me
I'm Taylor Hall, the owner of Hall Bookkeeping. I was born and raised in Charleston and graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Finance.
Before starting Hall Bookkeeping, I worked as a financial analyst at a business brokerage firm, where I spent three years reading the financials of small companies being bought and sold. Most of them had books that were a mess, and the owner usually found out at the worst possible time.
I started Hall Bookkeeping to provide small business owners with reliable, straightforward bookkeeping. I handle your books, reconcile your accounts each month, and keep your financials accurate and up to date.
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, reading new books, and spending time with my fiancée.

Frequently asked questions
Do you file my taxes?
No. Tax filing goes to a CPA. When it is time to file, I hand your CPA clean, tax ready books.
Do you run payroll?
No. I track payroll in your books but do not process it.
Do I need QuickBooks already?
No. I work on QuickBooks Online. If you are not on it yet, getting set up is part of getting started.
Are you a CPA?
No. I am a bookkeeper. I keep your books clean, reconciled, and tax ready. A CPA files your taxes, and I work directly with yours when it is time.
