Privacy policy
Hall Bookkeeping ("I", "me") is a sole proprietorship owned by Taylor Hall in Charleston, SC. This policy explains what information I collect through hallbookkeepingsc.com and in the course of bookkeeping work, and how I handle it.
What I collect
- Contact details you provide when you book a call: name, email, phone, and anything you write in the booking form. Scheduling runs through Calendly, which has its own privacy policy.
- Financial records you share as a client: bank and card statements, QuickBooks access, invoices, and related documents.
- Basic technical data collected by my hosting provider, such as IP address and pages visited, used only to keep the site running.
How I use it
- To schedule and hold calls, prepare quotes, and deliver bookkeeping services.
- To communicate with you about your books.
- Never for advertising. I do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone except as needed to deliver the work (for example, your CPA at your direction) or as required by law.
How I protect it
- Client records live in QuickBooks Online and are accessed through accountant-level credentials with two-factor authentication.
- I request read-only access wherever possible and keep access limited to me. Hall Bookkeeping is one person; no one else touches your file.
- Documents are retained while you are a client and for the period required for tax purposes, then deleted on request.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to correct or delete the information I hold about you, or to tell you what I have. Email taylor@hallbookkeepingsc.com or call (843) 214-7610.
