Terms of service
These terms cover use of hallbookkeepingsc.com and set the basic ground rules for working with Hall Bookkeeping. Engagements are governed by the written quote you accept, and if a quote and these terms conflict, the quote wins.
Services
- I provide bookkeeping: cleanup or catch-up of past records and monthly bookkeeping on QuickBooks Online.
- I do not provide tax filing, payroll processing, audit, legal, or investment services. Bookkeeping is not tax or legal advice.
Quotes and payment
- Cleanup work is quoted as a fixed total before work begins, and the quoted price does not change.
- Monthly service is a fixed monthly fee, no contract, cancel any time with notice before the next monthly cycle.
- First month or you pay nothing: if you are not satisfied with your first month of monthly service, you owe nothing for it.
Your responsibilities
- Provide timely access to statements and QuickBooks, and answer questions about transactions honestly.
- Delivery promises, such as statements within 15 business days of month end, run from when I have the records I need.
Liability
I carry out the work with reasonable professional care. My total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for the work in question. I am not liable for decisions you make based on your financial statements, or for penalties arising from information you did not provide or provided inaccurately.
